I am just writing in to tell you how much I
am enjoying the course!! I have been
handling watercolors since I was in school and had even attended a year of art school, but what I have learned in just the first three issues has been incredible!!! I suddenly realized that my approach to handling watercolors was so wrong. I have been practicing all your exercises (haven't been able to put my brush down for the past 4 hrs) and am already feeling more confident. Your course beats any book on watercolor hands down. Thank you so very much!!! Sophia Philip
Six years after taking Andy Walker's Watercolor course online, I am still painting. The class was so much fun that I barely realized that I was learning!
I still use the basic color palette I learned with, and rarely stray from it. Andy taught the course in a logical sequence, building each lesson upon the skills we had learned in previous lessons. We learned technique,
composition, perspective, and color
theory, and had the opportunity to learn
about the Masters as well as modern-
day painters.
By following along the lessons, you will
be painting beautiful pictures, talent or no.
Above all, have fun and participate in all
that Andy has to offer you.
Robin Kirkey
Thank you...oh, thank you ! The watercolour course has been simply THE BEST ! It has done everything I have wanted it to do for my painting !! It has provided me with a freedom with brush and paint that I never realized with oils. And it has introduced me to the great challenges of painting with water, pigment and brush on paper. Bravo for you and all the aspects of the course. During the course with you I have explored many other painter's use of watercolour, and, through the groundwork from you, I have been able to assimilate some of their notions of painting with yours. I am thrilled beyond words. Thank you again. your instruction is so sound and geared towards so much which relates to painting, whether oils, watercolour or acrylics. I am truly grateful. Ted Beardsley, USA
I think your course is wonderful and you do such a great job of explaining everything. Thank you for the course. Sandra Crompton, USA

For many years I have wanted to try watercolour painting but it was only a few years ago that I found myself in the position to start one. I was very much a beginner and I was very surprised when I found I could produce reasonable pictures right from the beginning.
Luckily, you can do it at your own pace as I struggled to find the time to be able to do it consistently for several months but now I am thoroughly enjoying it and really look forward to my next hour or so of painting. The course is laid out very clearly and it is very well-organised, and you don't end up buying stuff that you really don't need. Everything is well-explained and there is even a short video to watch with each issue that helps explain some of the techniques. If you do require extra help, you only have to ask. Thanks, Andy, for a great course! Lesley Peck, South Africa
