The acylic painting course covers all you need to know about acrylic painting and covers such topics as : understanding and using colourhow to paint without drawinglearning various essential painting techniquesmastering different painting stylesusing acrylics like oilsusing acrylics like watercolours
Each week there is a project to paint and each one helps you learn a different style or technique.
The printed pages of step-by-step instructions are all numbered and can be filed in a ring binder for future reference, so you will build up a complete manual of acrylic painting techniques.
When you sign up for the acrylic painting course you will begin to receive emails once a week, a bit like getting a magazine. Each email links to a painting lesson, where you will find
an audio introduction to the lesson
pages of clear instructions to print off and keep
video clips to show you exactly how it’s done
Just listen to the audio, print off the pages, watch the video and follow along. Each lesson builds on the one before, so you grow in confidence as you go along, and you will soon be amazed at how fast you are learning.
The important thing is to actually have a go at the projects. The course is very practical and you will learn by doing.

May I say a BIG THANK YOU for a delightful, instructive and most enjoyable course. I had not painted for over 25 years and only recently took up the brushes again. Your acrylics course not only helped me enormously but has motivated me again. The combination of audio, video & written guides is particularly helpful. It's a great course. Thanks again, Michael Todd
I just have to tell you how excited I am .I've learned a wealth of information from lesson 2. It has made all the difference in me "seeing" what I want to paint. It has been one of those "Eureka" moments, and I can't thank you enough. I am so looking forward to the rest of the acrylics course! Thank you, thank you! Diane Howard
I am delighted with your Acrylics course. The audio and video sections make it more personal and stimulating and the sheets are well prepared and presented. Thank you for this inexpensive quality course. Alan Goodwin

I can guarantee you will learn to paint with these lessons! And if you get stuck, you can even email me at any time with problems or questions.
Take your Time
Finally, you can take the courses at your own pace. You don’t have to keep up, or you can choose to go faster! And you can also pause them for a while if you need to. Each lesson takes between 2 and 4 hours to complete
You will learn how to handle acrylic paints with confidence, using a range of different styles and subjects.
I'll show you how to paint in all sorts of ways that will inspire you and equip you to paint beautiful pictures in acrylics. From still life to landscape, from portraits to tromp l'oeil, and from realism to the techniques of the impressionists, you will discover a whole new world of painting techniques.
Thank you for teaching me to acrylic painting, it is something I have always wanted to learn and you have made the lessons so easy to understand. Kirsty Oakley
I have found the course most helpful and intend to revisit most lessons, particularly those ones that I rushed plus a couple that I did not have time to do... Congratulations for putting together such a fine series of lessons at a very reasonable price.

Thank you for the Acrylic Course which I am enjoying very much and learning a lot in the process. What better - learning with enjoyment! Douglas Farmer
I did enjoy the lessons. They helped me stay focused on learning since a new lesson came every two weeks. Staying with it and painting most mornings during the week was a good discipline. And I made some friends in the forum.

Don’t worry, you won’t need to buy lots and lots of stuff. I’ve tried to keep to a minimum amount of materials. There’s a complete list with Part 1 of the course, but here below are the basics that will see you through most of the course.
Paints: you will need just 10 tubes of colour:
two reds: cadmium red and alizarin crimson
two blues: French ultramarine and cerulean blue
two yellows: cadmium yellow medium and lemon yellow
two earth colours: yellow ochre and burnt sienna
also titanium white and mars black
Brushes: You will need two types of brush - bristle brushes made from hog’s hair, and also soft synthetic hair brushes. More details in Part 1.
Palette knives : cheap plastic ones are fine
paper, canvas or wood to paint onto - the choice is yours!
Mixing palettes - see Part 1 for details
